Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Zwaluw in Zeist, part of Stichting MeanderOmnium, was inspected on 2 July 2026. The location provides care for a maximum of 13 toddlers (ages 2–4) and works with the early childhood education method Pyramid. The pedagogical climate and staff and groups meet requirements directly. Safety and health and accommodation meet requirements following a recovery offer. There were two violations: the garden was overgrown and the sandpit unusable due to low sand levels, and a play mat in the group room had a curled edge posing a fall hazard. Both have been resolved: the play mat was immediately secured with tape, and agreements have been made regarding garden maintenance and sandpit replenishment after the summer holiday. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
