Welcome to Wiedewei Helmond, our green childcare where being outdoors, enjoying greenery and discovering nature through play are central! We provide childcare for children aged 0-4 years in a safe and trusted environment at Boerhaavelaan 42 in Helmond.
As part of Kibeo, the childcare organization with more than 150 locations, we give your child a green start. We lovingly prepare your child for the future, where they playfully learn about nature, healthy food and exercise. Your child develops together with friends in a natural environment.
Our pedagogical staff have knowledge of nature, healthy food and exercise, and demonstrate attention and respect for the environment, plants and animals. We work with VE-qualified staff and baby specialists who receive continuous training through our own Kibeo Academy.
At lunchtime we serve a healthy warm meal. We are a progressive organization with room for personal input and where staff can develop annually with courses and training.

Violations
The location partially meets the quality requirements of the Childcare Act. Most domains are in compliance, but three serious shortcomings have been identified relating to adherence to the pedagogical policy, staffing levels, and the safety and health policy. Two of these violations have occurred repeatedly.
Strengths
- Pedagogical practice meets all basic objectives: emotional safety, personal and social competence, and transmission of values and norms
- Accommodation meets all requirements, including sufficient indoor and outdoor space
- Parental rights are well arranged, including complaints procedure and disputes committee
- All childcare professionals hold appropriate qualifications and Certificates of Conduct (VOG)
- Domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol is adequately established and known to staff

- Regular staff shifts and breaks must be described more concretely in the pedagogical policy plan
- Annual complaints report could be more specific about the substance of findings and nature of measures taken

- Pedagogical policy: insufficient action in accordance with policy plan due to deviation from staff-child ratio on 7 July 2026 without a second adult present, and absence of concrete description of regular staff shifts and breaks
- Staff and groups: when deviating from the staff-child ratio, only one childcare professional was present without another adult in the daycare center, a repeated violation that was also identified in May 2026 and 2025
- Safety and health: action contrary to safety and health policy due to presence of poisonous ivy in the outdoor space, and on 10 July 2026 the only present childcare professional was not qualified to provide first aid to children, a repeated violation
