About this care
Welcome to 't Peuterbos, our daycare center located at Catsstraat 2 in Rijen. We are part of Stichting Muzerij and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our facility is housed within primary school Het Fonkelbos, with whom we maintain close collaboration.
At 't Peuterbos, development through play is our central focus. We provide a homely atmosphere as a home-away-from-home where your child can feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff guide children in small groups, working with horizontal age groups.
We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:15 to 12:15. Parents who work, study or are integrating may be eligible for childcare allowance. Even if you don't qualify for allowance, you can use our services against an income-dependent contribution.

Summary
On 25 February 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted the annual inspection at toddler group 't Peuterbos in Rijen. The location provides care for 16 children aged 2-3 years on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The report finds that the care meets all assessed quality requirements, with one exception: the pedagogical policy lacked a description of how emotional safety and stability are safeguarded when no permanent staff member is present. The organisation quickly remedied this through a recovery offer, after which the requirement was met. No violations were identified. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement.
