About this care
Welcome to BSO Speelkamer in Grijpskerke! We are located at Bergwei 14, in the heart of the village, within walking distance of De Bergpadschool primary school. As part of Kinderopvang Walcheren, we provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12.
At BSO Speelkamer, everything revolves around relaxation, play, and friendship. We offer a safe and familiar place where children can develop through play and social interaction. Our location is designed to meet the needs of school-age children, with plenty of space to relax after a school day, do homework, or engage in active play.
Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide the children in their development and ensure they have a wonderful time. We work closely with De Bergpadschool, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Children can come directly from school to our location.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) De Speelkamer in Grijpskerke on 2 March 2026. The after-school care for up to 20 children (ages 4–13) generally meets all quality requirements. One violation was identified in the area of safety and health: not all power outlets were fitted with safety covers, although this was described in the safety policy. Following a recovery offer, the operator corrected this by revising the action plan and installing the safety covers. All other areas examined (pedagogical climate, staff, domestic violence reporting protocol, parental rights) directly met the requirements. The GGD advises the municipality of Veere not to take enforcement measures.
