Summary

This inspection report concerns a registration investigation for after-school care (BSO) SKSG Klaproos in Groningen. The location is a former school building temporarily using two rooms for a maximum of 27 children aged 6 to 8 years. Almost all quality requirements are met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights all score positively. However, one violation was identified: the location had already commenced operations before the completed registration investigation, which is in violation of Article 1.45(3) of the Childcare Act. The relocation from the previous location was necessary due to safety risks caused by nuisance from youths. Despite this violation, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to include the location with 27 childcare places in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK).
