About this care
Welcome to SKSG Calcio, the sports after-school care of South Groningen! Our location is right in the middle of Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn, at Laan Corpus den Hoorn 101 in Groningen. We provide after-school care for up to 38 children aged 4 to 12. Sport and movement are at the heart of everything we do: children can try climbing, judo, yoga, rugby, unihockey, BMX, kickboxing and many more activities. Every day our pedagogical staff collect the children from school – by bike or minibus – and bring them to Calcio, and around half past five they are picked up again. We work closely with local primary schools and provide a safe, sporty and challenging environment where every child can discover their talents.Read more

Summary
SKSG Calcio is a sports after-school care (BSO) in Groningen for a maximum of 24 children from age 7, located at Corpus den Hoorn sports park. The annual inspection of 24 September 2025 shows that the location generally functions well. One violation was identified: the pedagogical policy was not fully adhered to because the BSO passports were not used. This has been recovered through revision of the pedagogical work plan, as the freedoms offered in the passports were not suitable for the older children (10+). All other areas (staff, safety, parental rights) met the statutory requirements. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
