BSO De Bolster is located at Kindcentrum De Bolster, Oosterstraat 3A in Deventer. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a warm, homely atmosphere. As part of Christoforus Kinderopvang, an anthroposophical organization, our educational approach is centered around the unique child and their development.
Our location accommodates up to 50 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2010, under number 869184465. We welcome children from all primary school groups and offer both before- and after-school care, as well as care during holidays, study days, and strike days. The close collaboration with De Bolster primary school allows us to provide a continuous developmental path, ensuring children feel safe and familiar in a known environment.

Summary
On 10 August 2026, GGD IJsselland conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) Kastanjeboom in Deventer. The after-school care (BSO), part of Stichting Christoforus kinderopvang, accommodates 50 children aged 4-13 years in two base groups. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. The pedagogical practice is positive: children are at ease, there is a calm atmosphere, and children are given space to choose their own activities. The staff-to-child ratio complies with the law, all staff members hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and are registered in the PRK. The indoor space (251.1 m²) and outdoor space (>150 m²) comfortably exceed the requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The provider did not submit a response.
