About this care
Welcome to SKSG Bubbel De Beelen, our daycare centre located at Beelen 3 in Tolbert. We provide care for up to 31 children aged 0 to 4 years. In our energy-neutral, sustainable building we work daily on the development of young children. We share a vegetable garden where children learn about healthy and fresh food. They help maintain it and discover new vegetables. In our kitchen corner, children aged 1-4 can already do some cooking at the kitchen unit with pull-out plinth. We offer pre-school education (VE) and use horizontal groups, so children play and learn with peers. Our pedagogical team provides a safe, warm environment in which every child can develop. We work closely with primary school De Beelen, which is located on the same site. Our opening hours are flexible: standard from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, but upon request we can open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Summary
GGD Groningen conducted a follow-up inspection on 16 July 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) SKSG Bubbel De Beelen in Tolbert. The inspection focused on the issues that were not in order during the annual inspection in October 2025: paediatric first aid (kinderEHBO) and the use of the outdoor space. The location provides care for 31 children aged 2 to 4 years in two fixed groups. This follow-up inspection found that there are now sufficient qualified first aiders present, and that a suitable outdoor play area has been created adjacent to the building. The outdoor space was not yet in actual use during the inspection visits, but staff members (beroepskrachten) are positive about it. The website text has been updated; the location guide will follow. No enforcement action is advised.
