About this care
Welcome to Prokino daycare centre Baloe, the daycare in the heart of Hoevelaken. We provide loving care for the youngest children up to 4 years old. Everything revolves around a homely atmosphere where your child feels safe and at home. We follow the familiar daily routine from home and ensure plenty of cosiness and personal attention.
Our location has a spacious play hall where children can climb and clamber to their heart's content. In addition, we have our own outdoor playground with a vegetable and herb garden. Here children playfully learn about nature and are allowed to help with gardening themselves. From reading books with our pedagogical staff to crafting and playing outside: there is always something fun to do.
For the toddler group we work with the Early Education (VE) program Uk & Puk. This program stimulates toddlers' development in a playful way. Together with doll Puk, children experience all kinds of adventures that help them with their social-emotional development, language development and motor skills. We pay extra attention to the different developmental areas of your child.
We accommodate a maximum of 48 children at our location. Our small-scale groups ensure that each child receives the attention they deserve. We believe in a natural environment and healthy food. Playing, discovering and growing together: that's what we stand for. You are most welcome at Prokino daycare centre Baloe!Read more

Summary
Prokino Baloe daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Hoevelaken, part of Stichting Prokino Kinderopvang, provides care for up to 48 children across three groups: a baby group, a vertical group, and a toddler group. During the annual inspection on 16 January 2026, it was found that the location meets the legal requirements for staff and groups. However, a recovery offer was issued regarding the pedagogical policy: the pedagogical work plan lacked a description of the maximum size of the core groups. The operator resolved this within the set deadline. The pedagogical practice showed strong points: a warm, positive atmosphere with attention to emotional safety, children's self-reliance, and social competencies. All staff members are correctly registered, adequately trained, and receive annual coaching.
