Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Prinsenark in Alphen aan den Rijn was inspected on 1 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden. The location, part of Stichting SHEZAF, offers 41 places for children aged 0-4 years in three core groups and provides subsidised pre-school education. The annual inspection showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: staff guide children sensitively, stimulate social competence and apply clear rules. The pre-school education with the Uk & Puk programme meets all requirements, including a training plan and deployment of a pedagogical policy officer. Staff hold the correct qualifications, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations, and the personnel register is in order. Safety protocols are correctly adhered to and there is always someone with first aid present.
