About this care
Pluizenbolletje Daycare is located at Comeniusstraat 511 in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. With a maximum of 12 childcare places, we work in vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a warm, family-like atmosphere.
Our location is fully equipped to meet the needs of young children. We provide diapers and bottle feeding as part of our care, so parents can bring their child worry-free. The spaces are safely and child-friendly furnished, with plenty of room for playing, sleeping and discovering. We have an outdoor playground where children can get fresh air and exercise daily.
Kindercentrum Pluizenbolletje stands for quality and personal attention. We work with permanent staff who know each child well and can provide tailored care. Our opening hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We are open all year round, except for official holidays.

- Insufficient qualified staff deployed: for 13 children with the present age distribution (2 children aged 0 years, 3 children aged 1 year, 6 children aged 2 years, 2 children aged 3 years), 3 qualified staff members must be working, but only 2 qualified staff members were present during the inspection visit at 11:30 a.m.
Summary
GGD Amsterdam conducted an unannounced incidental inspection on 17 February 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Pluzenbolletje at Comeniusstraat 511 in Amsterdam. The inspection followed signals from a nearby location about uncertainties regarding children being cared for at multiple locations. During the inspection visit, it was found that 13 children were being cared for while the location is registered for 12 childcare places. There were also insufficient qualified staff present: only 2 instead of the required 3 for this number and age range of children. Following the visit, the operator submitted a response in which they dispute the findings and cite administrative errors, a child brought to the wrong location, and an outdated work schedule. However, the GGD maintains its finding that the implementation of the pedagogical policy and staffing levels did not comply with legislation and regulations.
