About this care
Plaza is a small-scale KION daycare centre located at Campusbaan 6 in Nijmegen. We provide care for up to 64 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM; on request early care from 7:00 AM or extended care until 7:00 PM can be arranged.
We cooperate with ROC Nijmegen. Students of the Pedagogical Work programme regularly organise activities such as puppet and theatre shows, reading aloud and arts & crafts. This gives the children extra stimulation and allows them to learn through play.

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Plaza in Nijmegen, part of KION Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected on 31 March 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Gelderland-Zuid. The daycare center has three core groups for children aged 0-4 years and meets all quality requirements examined. The pedagogical practice is assessed positively: staff provide emotional security, stimulate development, and guide social interactions. Staffing and group sizes, safety and health, and parental rights also comply with statutory requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified during this annual inspection. In previous years (2023 and 2024), there were recovery offers for the pedagogical policy and the safety and health policy respectively; these have since been resolved.
