Welcome to Peuterspelen 't Swaentje, located in OBS De Komeet at Braillestraat 2 in Krommenie. As part of TintelTuin, we provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. In our fresh, new space, we work together with our friend Raai the Crow on learning through play. We believe every child is unique and has their own pace of development. Our toddler care is set up as a horizontal group, bringing together children of the same age. We offer preschool education (VVE) and operate Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This intensive collaboration between toddler care, daycare, school, and after-school care creates a continuous learning and care line for children aged 0 to 13 years. Summary
Peuterspelen 't Swaentje in Krommenie, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 years to school age, was inspected on 19 January 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Zaanstreek-Waterland. The annual inspection showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: staff provide emotional security, stimulate language and social development, and work with the Early Childhood Education (VE) programme Peuterplein. There were no violations or areas for improvement. The GGD advises the municipality of Zaanstad not to take enforcement measures.
