Preschool/toddler care De Ukkehut is a vibrant place of play and development, located within IKC Sint Joseph. Here, every toddler is welcomed with open arms and a wide range of activities, thoughtfully designed to prepare them playfully for the adventurous journey to primary school.
At De Ukkehut, playing together takes centre stage, where toddlers learn, discover and grow in a stimulating environment. Our programme is infused with diverse themes that not only connect with toddlers' curiosity but are also carefully aligned with the early years classes. This close collaboration lays the foundation for a smooth transition to the next phase of their development: the early years class.

Summary
Toddler daycare De Ukkehut in Heerhugowaard, part of Stichting Allente opvang, was inspected by GGD Hollands Noorden on 2 July 2026. The location provides care for 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years and is registered as an early childhood education (VE) location. The annual inspection showed a mixed picture: the pedagogical climate and staff qualifications were adequate, but three violations were identified. One violation concerned the VE policy, which did not align with practice; this was resolved following a recovery offer.
