Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal Avonturijn, located in the characteristic building De Melkfabriek 3 in Hilversum. As part of Stichting BINK Peuterspeelzalen, we provide care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our preschool has two groups with a maximum of 16 children each, where each group is guided by two qualified, permanent staff members. Together with possible interns or volunteers, they ensure warm and professional guidance. We work according to the principles of early childhood education (VVE) using the Uk & Puk learning method. This approach stimulates the development of Dutch language skills, numeracy orientation, and social-communicative skills in a playful way. By working with themes from the toddlers' direct experiential world, they learn to discover new things through play. All this takes place in a rich learning environment where creative activities such as arts and crafts and outdoor play are central. Peuterspeelzaal Avonturijn is part of a broad school, together with primary school Avonturijn, daycare Avonturijn, and after-school care Avonturijn. This collaboration ensures a continuous pedagogical line and a varied range of activities. Children can thus grow up in a familiar environment from 2 to 13 years. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30-11:45 AM and 12:15-3:30 PM. During school holidays, the preschool is closed.
