At our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 0 to 4, every child adds their own colour to the future in their own unique way. Children here are given the space to follow their curiosity and discover the world for themselves. We pay close attention to what captures children's interest and provide play materials that match their interests and developmental level. We encourage them with stimulating and challenging materials. For young children, regularity and clarity in how the day unfolds is very important. Summary
Peuteropvang Zuilen in Utrecht, part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens, was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 13 May 2026. This was an unannounced follow-up investigation into previously identified violations from December 2025. The location accommodates 16 toddlers and provides early childhood education. The inspection showed that the pedagogical practice previously rated as insufficient now meets the quality requirements. The staff demonstrate sensitive and responsive pedagogical practice, provide structure and support children in their development. Previous shortcomings in the area of safety and health policy and the domestic violence and child abuse reporting code have now been resolved following a recovery offer.
