Peuteropvang IJgenweis is located inside De Bethelschool at Lindengaarde 17A in Waddinxveen. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 years and 3 months to 4 years. Our pedagogical staff work from Christian norms and values. They approach each child as a unique and valuable person, a pearl in God's hand. We challenge children through activities that stimulate social-emotional, motor and language development. Children play together with peers and are playfully prepared for primary school. We consider a good transition to De Bethelschool very important. With parental consent, we share general information about the child's development. Summary
Peuteropvang IJgenweis in Waddinxveen is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 16 children aged 2–4 years. The inspection on 1 April 2025 shows that the childcare location meets the requirements for pedagogical climate and safety/health. There were two shortcomings: a work-study learner's (BBL'er) employment contract was too short (18 hours instead of the mandatory 20), and the guidance plan lacked required signatures; both were resolved quickly and correctly following a recovery offer. Additionally, electrical outlets at child height were unprotected; this was resolved after the recovery offer with safety covers. No violations remained outstanding. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
