Peuteropvang De Windmolen is a small-scale daycare facility in Uitgeest that welcomes up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Summary

Toddler daycare De Windmolen in Uitgeest was inspected unannounced on 27 November 2025 by GGD Kennemerland. The location provides care for 16 children aged 2 to 4 years and is housed in the canteen of korfbal club Stormvogels. The annual inspection showed that the location meets the statutory quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. The pedagogical practice provides sufficient emotional safety and developmental stimulation. Sufficient qualified staff are deployed and all staff hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). Points for attention concern the limited description of tasks and supervision of volunteers in the pedagogical policy, and the readability of the policy plan. The outdoor play equipment has not been inspected by a recognised body; the provider has removed the slide and the climbing frame. No incident registration was maintained, although this was done following an incident in 2025. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement measures.
