The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Kennemerland conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection on 20 November 2025 at Kinderdagverblijf De Wereld, location Kindcentrum Binnenmeer in Uitgeest. The location provides daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) services for 24 children (0-4 years) in two groups and has been open since 1 October 2025. The building was recently renovated. The inspection assessed pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and premises. All areas comply with legislation and regulations. There were, however, points for attention: on the day of inspection, a child was moved to another group in order to meet the staff-child ratio (beroepskracht-kindratio/BKR), which is contrary to stable childcare provision. There are also areas for improvement regarding the recording of break times and the staff-child ratio during staff shortages. The holder has committed to improving these matters. No recovery offer was made and no violations were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
