Summary

GGD Haaglanden conducted an unannounced follow-up investigation at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Perron 07 in Den Haag on 13 August 2026. This investigation took place following an earlier violation identified during the annual inspection in October 2025. The location, part of Stichting Pedagogiekontwikkeling voor het Jonge Kind, accommodates up to 64 children (ages 0-4) in a monumental school building in the Zeeheldenkwartier. Although the training requirements for staff members and the deployment of pedagogical professionals in development (PPIO-ers) comply with legislation, one violation was identified. The holder does not register specific drop-off and pick-up times for children, but uses only a tick system for attendance. This is insufficient to demonstrate that the staff-to-child ratio is being met. The holder did submit additional attendance lists after the visit, but these were not included in the investigation because the system itself does not meet requirements. The supervisor advises the municipality to take enforcement action.
