About this care
Welcome to Partou KDV Aan Zee! Our daycare center is located at Houtmanpad 22 in Haarlem. Close to the blonde dunes, on the edge of an extensive meadow area, our location is where nature and city meet. Our backyard consists of dunes and forest – what more could you want?
At Partou Aan Zee, we provide child-centered childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our play areas are focused on playtime fun with cuddly toys, dolls, cars, blocks, books, and craft supplies. We have a clear view of the vegetable gardens and the horses in the meadow, while swans swim by gracefully. Outside is also a bit inside at our daycare.
Our pedagogical staff provide a warm, familiar environment where babies and toddlers feel at home. We offer good preparation for primary school through early childhood education (VVE) and stimulate each child's development at their own pace. Fresh and healthy hot meals are served daily at the daycare.

GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 17 February 2026 at Partou KDV Aan Zee in Haarlem, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for ages 0-4 with 54 places. The theme was 'parents and child'. The location meets most of the assessed quality requirements, including pedagogical policy, pedagogical practice, personnel register, staff qualifications and informing parents. One violation was identified: the parent committee did not have a regulation. The permit holder made use of the recovery offer and subsequently established the regulation. The GGD advises the municipality of Haarlem not to enforce, as the shortcoming has been resolved.
