About this care
BSO Parcival is part of Opvang Krullevaartje and has recently opened in the annex of the Vrijeschool at Danslaan 60 in the Danswijk district of Almere. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 6 years. The location has capacity for up to 48 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 28 September 2020 under number 384923446.
Our qualified pedagogical staff create an open and safe atmosphere where anything is possible. Children have plenty of opportunity for free play with a wide range of materials. We read aloud, do arts and crafts, and sing together. The large outdoor area and schoolyard offer ample space for movement and play. We tailor our activities to the children's world of experience and interact with them respectfully and non-violently.
Thanks to our collaboration with the Vrijeschool, we have access to a playroom and additional outdoor space. This gives our staff new opportunities to respond to the questions and needs of the children. Summary
BSO Parcival in Almere provides care for children aged 4–7 in the building of the Vrijeschool Oosterwold. The unannounced inspection on 25 November 2025 concludes that the location meets all legal requirements. The pedagogical climate is experienced as positive: children experience freedom, emotional safety and stability through permanent staff members. The policy is up to date and is consistently implemented. Staff are properly registered, hold appropriate qualifications and meet the language requirement. The qualified practitioner-to-child ratio is in order, with a fully deployable BBL student. The safety and health policy is in place and is being followed, although the plan still contains some outdated or non-location-specific elements (e.g. measures for children under 4 years, old action points). There is always someone with a valid first aid certificate present. The domestic violence reporting protocol is in order, as is knowledge of reporting, consultation and notification obligations. Parents are adequately informed via the website and parent portal. There is no parent committee, but the provider actively involves parents in policy changes, such as fee adjustments. One point of attention is that new policy on risky play and fire pits still needs to be developed and discussed with parents. No complaints have been received. The advice to the municipality is not to enforce.
