Summary

On 31 August 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Flevoland conducted an unannounced incidental investigation at after-school care (BSO) Mijn Kinderopvang in Almere following a continuous screening report. A former intern was found to still be linked in the Childcare Personnel Register (PRK) despite no longer having done an internship for two years and no longer meeting the Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) requirements. The administrator unlinked the individual immediately after the telephone contact. As an improvement measure, the location has committed to unlinking individuals immediately upon termination of employment and conducting checks on the PRK twice yearly (September and March). The supervisor has advised against enforcement action.
