Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hart voor Brabant conducted a registration inspection on 13 January 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Nienekes in Cuijk, part of childcare organisation Spring. The location provides care for 50 children aged 4 to 13 years in two base groups and is housed in a children's centre with a primary school and daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). The GGD concludes that the operation can reasonably proceed in accordance with the Childcare Act. There were two points of attention: the pedagogical policy described the four competencies too briefly for each age group, and the safety risk of 'falling on stairs' was missing from the policy. The operator addressed both points during the inspection. All other domains met the requirements. A post-registration inspection is scheduled within three months of commencing operations (planned for 2 March 2026).
