Summary
This Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report concerns a follow-up investigation on 25 August 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Next Century in Rotterdam. The investigation focused on the duty to report, consult, and file, which was found to be non-compliant during the annual inspection of 31 July 2025. At that time, staff were not sufficiently familiar with all components of this duty. The provider has taken measures: a training session on 9 July 2026 and multiple team meetings in which this topic was addressed. During the follow-up investigation, it was found that a staff member now correctly knew what to do in cases of suspected abuse or mistreatment. The violation was therefore no longer identified. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
