Welcome to Sport BSO Nigel's Kidzz located at Dordtselaan 47A in Rotterdam! We are a sports-oriented after-school care facility where children from 4 years old can enjoy the perfect balance between movement, fun and personal attention.
At our BSO, everything revolves around creating a pleasant atmosphere where every child feels seen and valued. We work with a permanent team of professional pedagogical child supervisors who are involved, energetic and have an eye for each individual child. By working in small groups, we can always offer space for personal attention and ensure a safe environment.
Our varied program is full of sports and creative activities. During school holidays and occasionally on Wednesday afternoons, we organize fun activities such as football tournaments, dance workshops, craft sessions, cooking moments and of course playing outside. The sports lessons are given by real professionals who know how to motivate and challenge children in a playful way.
We also take care of the inner person! Every day we serve fresh and nutritious meals, often with a Caribbean touch, because food can also be a bit festive with us. As an all-inclusive BSO, we take all worries out of your hands - everything your child needs is available, from plates and cups to special food when needed.
We believe in short lines and personal contact with parents. Do you have questions about allowances, changing working hours or temporary unemployment? Strengths

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 11 June 2026 concerns a follow-up investigation into Sport BSO Nigel's Kidzz in Rotterdam, an after-school care (BSO) for 40 children (ages 4–13). The investigation focused on two previously identified shortcomings: pedagogical policy and training requirements. The training requirements are now in order: all staff members hold an appropriate qualification. While the pedagogical policy plan has been revised and now contains sufficient concrete descriptions, implementation in practice remains seriously inadequate. The following issues were identified: insufficient wellbeing and involvement of children, lack of sensitive responsiveness, negative corrections instead of coaching, insufficient control over the group, and failure to interact with respect and from a positive approach. The pedagogical practice does not formally form part of this follow-up investigation, but the inspectors note that it is nevertheless concerning. The violation regarding pedagogical policy has not been remedied, as practice is not in line with the policy.
