About this care
Welcome to BSO De Gouden Wereld, located in Kindcentrum Dynamiek at Goudenweg 200 in Maastricht. We are a unique after-school care facility where children aged 4 to 13 can relax, chat and enjoy themselves in a homely and safe environment after school.
Our BSO is part of MIK & Spelenderwijs Kindontwikkeling and is housed in Kindcentrum Dynamiek, which means we work optimally together with the primary school and other facilities in the center. We provide care for a maximum of 33 children, ensuring a small-scale and personal approach.
What makes us special is our beautiful nature playground "De Gouden Wereld", where children can romp, discover and play outdoors. This natural play environment offers endless possibilities for adventurous activities and stimulates children's imagination and motor development.
We are open Monday through Friday. After school, our doors are open until 6:30 PM, but we also offer before-school care from 7:30 AM onwards. This makes our BSO flexible and tailored to the needs of working parents.
Our pedagogical staff are ready to give the children a wonderful time after an intensive school day. We offer both rest and relaxation as well as challenging activities that connect with the children's world of experience. Summary
Municipal Health Service (GGD) Zuid-Limburg conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 26 March 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Gouden Wereld in Maastricht. The after-school care accommodates up to 33 children aged 4 to 13 years and is part of Stichting MIK & Spelenderwijs Kindontwikkeling. Overall, the location meets the quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate is positive: children feel emotionally safe, are challenged in their development, and the pedagogical professionals act sensitively and responsively. In terms of staff and groups, most requirements are also in order, including Certificates of Conduct (VOG), qualification requirements, and staff-to-child ratio. However, there was one violation: not all children were cared for in their own base group. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) issued a recovery offer for this, which the holder accepted. The shortcoming has since been resolved.
