The childminder/host parent is aware of the risk and explained that only young babies are placed in it. An agreement has been made with the childminder/host parent agency (gastouderbureau) to safely enclose the top of the bed. This is not regarded as a violation but as an improvement point. The GGD advises the municipality of Schiedam not to take enforcement action.
