The childminder has since implemented improvements: the play area has been rearranged with more accessible toys, more structure has been introduced with a daily schedule, and the childminder communicates more positively with the child. In the area of safety and health, risks have also been largely removed: the play equipment has been removed, children now sleep in a cot, the stairs have been cleared, and hygiene measures have been adjusted. The childminder is currently caring for only one child, meaning the picture of pedagogical practice with multiple children remains incomplete. Additional guidance remains necessary.
