About this care
At Kiem, we believe in the power of working together — what we call Kiemkracht. Across our 13 child centers, we provide (special) primary education and childcare for children from 0 to 13 years. Our care is divided into three age groups: daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 0-2, preschool/toddler care (POV) for toddlers aged 2-4, and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4-13.
We strive to offer every child a safe and stimulating environment where they can develop optimally. Our child centers are designed so that children feel at home and can develop at their own pace. We work with professional staff who bring out the best in every child, every day.
Parents are always welcome with us for a personal tour or more information. Please feel free to contact us at 0413 72 90 07. We are ready to answer all your questions and show you what Kiem can mean for your child.Read more

BSO Marimba in Uden (Kiem Opvang) received its annual unannounced Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 20 November 2025. The location provides before-school, after-school, and holiday care for up to 73 children (ages 4-13) in four base groups, housed in primary school Marimba. The pedagogical policy is complete and is actively discussed with and coached to the team. Observations during the afternoon programme (reception, fruit time, outdoor play, craft activity) showed calm transitions, clear expectations, emotional safety, and challenging activities; children can make their own choices and receive appropriate guidance. All present childcare professionals, teachers, and sports instructors are correctly registered in the childcare personnel register and hold a Certificate of Conduct (VOG). No violations or areas for improvement were identified; the location meets all assessed quality requirements. No deficiencies were found in previous years (2022-2024) either. The GGD advises the municipality of Maashorst not to take enforcement measures.
