About this care
KION Kinderopvang offers a safe and stimulating environment for children from 0 to 13 years. We believe in the power of learning through play, where children are given the space to discover their own talents and develop at their own pace. Our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) are specially designed to meet the needs of young children, with attention to emotional security and social skills.
In our toddler groups, we prepare children for primary school through structured activities that promote their development. We work with the Early Childhood Education method, where each theme stimulates different developmental areas. Our experienced childcare staff ensure that every child feels seen and heard, and provide support where needed.
For after-school care (BSO), we offer a wide range of activities, from sports and games to creative pursuits. Children are encouraged to play together and make new friends, while exploring their own interests. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Maasbommel (KION kinderopvang) was visited unannounced on 14 April 2025 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Gelderland-Zuid. The location provides care for a maximum of 15 children aged 2-4 years in one toddler group, located in primary school St. Lambertus. The annual inspection shows that the childcare meets all statutory quality requirements; no violations were identified. The pedagogical vision is clear and consistently implemented, the staff-to-child ratio is in order, and all staff members hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and are correctly registered. The indoor and outdoor spaces are spacious, safe and designed with children in mind. Parents can use an app to see which staff members are working in the group and who their child's mentor is. No recovery offer was required. The municipality of West Maas en Waal is advised not to take enforcement action.
