About this care
KDV Henricus Hoeve is located on a vibrant organic farm in Beneden-Leeuwen. We provide children aged 0 to 4 with a safe, natural environment where they can grow up among dairy cows, chickens, goats, a pony and rabbits. Our small-scale vertical group welcomes a maximum of 16 children, ensuring every child receives the personal attention they deserve.
The programme revolves around themed activities and daily outdoor exploration. Children discover how new life begins, taste organic produce straight from our land and play in a spacious outdoor area filled with wood, sand, stones and water. These experiences foster development in a playful, natural way.
Healthy nutrition is essential to us. We serve fresh hot meals every day and accommodate allergies and religious dietary requirements. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a secure setting in which children can thrive. The latest pedagogical policy is available on our website.
Day-care opening hours: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Drop-off is between 7:00 – 9:00 a.m., pick-up between 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. We operate on a 52-week contract and offer exchange days subject to availability. Registration is handled through the form on our website.Read more

Strengths
- Staff interact with children in a warm, calm and supportive manner and are attentive to individual needs

Summary
KDV Henricus Hoeve in Beneden-Leeuwen, part of KDV & BSO Henricus Hoeve B.V., was inspected on 30 July 2026 by GGD Gelderland-Zuid (Municipal Health Service). The location provides daycare for up to 32 children (0-4 years) in two groups on an organic dairy farm. The annual inspection covered administration, pedagogical policy, Certificate of Conduct (VOG)/PRK registration, deployment of the pedagogical policy officer, safety and health policy, and parent committee. The location received a recovery offer for shortcomings in safety and health: not all opened products in the refrigerator had a use-by date, the refrigerator thermometer was not working, and staff did not always wash their hands or clean the changing mat after each nappy change. At the recovery visit on 13 August 2026, all issues were found to have been resolved. All other inspected requirements were met immediately. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
