The host parent is placed through childminder agency (gastouderbureau) De Herberg. Almost all quality requirements were met. There was one violation in the domain of safety and health: the practice regarding safe sleeping did not match the risk assessment (use of a duvet with a cot, while this had been excluded due to the risk of sudden infant death syndrome). The inspector issued a recovery offer (herstelaanbod) with a one-week deadline. The host parent resolved this by consulting with the agency and agreeing to use only a baby sleeping bag going forward. The inspector advises no enforcement action.
