Summary

This inspection report concerns an investigation for registration of the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Ms Loeffen in Uden, conducted by GGD Hart voor Brabant on behalf of the municipality of Maashorst. The host parent is affiliated with Gastouderbureau De Vlinder and will provide day care for two children aged 1 and 2 years at the requesting parent's residential address. A family relationship exists: the host parent is the grandmother of the children to be cared for. During the inspection visit, two safety issues were identified in the children's bedrooms: unprotected socket outlets and window decoration cords hanging within children's reach. The host parent remedied these immediately after the visit by fitting child safety covers on the socket outlets and hanging the cords higher. All other aspects comply with statutory requirements.
