This inspection report concerns an application for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang/VGO) by Laroo at the address Wibautstraat 174B in Amsterdam. The childminder wishes to provide care for one child aged 8 months on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the host parent's home. The childminder has extensive experience in childcare and works through childminder agency Gastouderland. The inspection took place on 23 September 2025. The quality requirements were largely assessed on the basis of an earlier inspection from April 2025, as the childminder is already registered for another location. During the visit, several minor safety measures were identified that were immediately rectified, including securing loose cables and fitting a small lock on the door to the washing machine. No violations were identified. The supervisor advises partially rejecting the application for 6 childcare places and issuing a positive decision for 3 childcare places, as desired by both the childminder and the host parent.
