About this care
Welcome to De Kukel, our daycare centre located in the Valuwe district of Cuijk. We provide small-scale childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years, with personal attention at the heart of everything we do. Our site at Robijnlaan 105, next to primary school ’t Startblok, features a spacious, naturally designed outdoor area where children can play and explore to their hearts’ content.
Inside, De Kukel has a homely atmosphere with cosy corners: children can ‘cook’ in the play kitchen, enjoy games, drive toy cars and trains, or dress up and dance. We operate a separate baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years), ensuring every child is cared for in an environment that suits their developmental stage.
As an additional service, we offer – for a small fee – a healthy hot meal. This gives parents plenty of flexibility and allows their child to enjoy a full day in a safe, familiar setting.Read more

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kukel in Cuijk, part of Stichting Spring Kinderopvang, was subject to an unannounced annual inspection by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hart voor Brabant on 22 May 2026. The location provides care for 64 children aged 0 to 4 years in four core groups. All assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health have been fully met.
