About this care
Welcome to KDV De Krullevaar in Annen, a location of Stichting SKID Kinderopvang where children aged 0 to 4 can develop in a safe and warm environment. They are welcomed with peace, regularity and fun. We play, sing, dance, craft and eat together every day. Outdoor play is very important to us: babies enjoy themselves in a safe corner while older children climb on the play equipment or play in the sandbox. Getting dirty is allowed!
De Krullevaar has three groups: Blauwe Petteflet and Gele Lispeltuut for children aged 0 to 2.5 years, and Rode Stampertjes for children aged 2 to 4 years. At certain times of the day the group doors are open, allowing children to play together in the hall or visit another group.
Children with (mild) physical and/or intellectual disabilities are very welcome.
We monthly visit the residential care center 't Holthuys with the toddlers to sing or read. We regularly organize activities involving parents together with local professionals such as a speech therapist or library staff.Read more

Summary
The annual unannounced inspection on 16 March 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Krullevaar in Annen shows a positive picture. The location, part of SKID Kinderopvang with 43 childcare places, meets all assessed quality requirements in the domains of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical policy is known and followed by staff. The Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) checks and registration in the Childcare Personnel Register are in order. The safety and health policy is complete and up-to-date, with attention to risks, the sleep protocol, and backup staffing. The domestic violence reporting protocol and the duty to report, consult, and file are well implemented. Parents are adequately informed and there is a functioning parent committee. No complaints have been received. In 2023 there were violations (safety/health and information), but these were resolved following a recovery offer. Since then, the location has been structurally compliant.
