Located in the Vaartbroek district of Eindhoven, Korein Tarwelaan provides daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a bright, safe and stimulating indoor space. Summary
GGD Brabant-Zuidoost conducted a follow-up inspection at Korein Tarwelaan (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Eindhoven on 18 November 2025, following violations identified during the annual inspection on 1 July 2025. The location provides early childhood education (VE) to a maximum of 43 children in three base groups (ages 0-4). The inspection was prompted by toddlers being unable to receive the mandatory 960-hour VE offer due to group closures (2024: 19 times, 2025 up to July: 9 times). During the follow-up inspection, it was established that no closures have occurred since August 2025. The location has drawn up a concrete action plan with measures including hiring new staff, improved holiday scheduling, use of a flexible staffing pool, and reducing workload. The assessed condition 'early childhood education' now meets the requirements. There are no longer any violations. The GGD advises the municipality of Eindhoven not to apply enforcement measures.
