About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Billies, located at Weegschaalstraat 1 in Eindhoven. We are a small-scale daycare centre where personal and trusted childcare is our top priority. Your child will find the calm, attention and safety it deserves. We organise three clearly defined groups: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, so we can offer exactly what each age group needs.
Our pedagogical approach lets children learn through play while teaching them basic norms and values. We encourage motor, social-emotional and sensory development by spending a lot of time outdoors. Running, climbing, balancing and taking age-appropriate risks are part of the programme; children learn their own limits and build self-confidence. Outdoor play is therefore a fixed part of every day.
Kinderdagverblijf Billies is part of the Eckart Spil-centrum. Together with the primary school and other partners we provide one continuous development line from 0 to 13 years. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk, working thematically to stimulate language and cognitive development from the earliest age. Our certified pedagogical staff closely follow every child and tailor activities to individual needs.

The annual inspection by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost on 12 March 2026 shows that daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Billies in Eindhoven largely meets the quality requirements of the Childcare Act. The location provides daycare for 41 children in three core groups (baby, toddler, preschooler) and has been located in SPIL centrum Eckart since November 2023. The pedagogical practice scores well: staff provide emotional safety, stimulate personal and social development, and work respectfully with children. Personnel are well qualified, deployment meets ratio requirements, and all employees hold valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations. The pedagogical policy plan is partially compliant: 10 of 12 assessed conditions are in order. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Eindhoven not to take enforcement measures.
