Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids works exclusively with childminders (gastouders) who are registered in the National Childcare Register and have been approved by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Our intermediaries regularly visit the childcare locations to check whether all safety requirements are met. We carry out annual risk assessments and evaluate the childcare with parents and childminders. The agency has a pedagogical policy that all childminders work according to and offers pedagogical support through its own pedagogical staff. We receive annual inspection visits from the GGD.

Summary
This inspection report concerns a registration investigation for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) provided by Kok Leijen in Wieringerwaard, conducted by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden on behalf of the municipality of Hollands Kroon. The childminder provides care for a maximum of 4 children on Wednesdays and incidentally on Fridays in a semi-detached house. During the inspection visit, two safety risks were identified: a missing smoke detector in the office (part of an escape route) and cleaning products within reach of children. The childminder remedied these shortcomings within the agreed one-week timeframe, evidenced by photographs. All other assessed requirements regarding registration, pedagogical climate, expertise, accommodation and the reporting code were met immediately. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises that the facility be included in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
