Summary

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Koele Kikker in Boxmeer, part of Stichting Spring Kinderopvang, was inspected following an application to expand the number of childcare places. The location provides early childhood education to children aged 2 to 4 years. Although the holder originally applied for 48 places, the investigation revealed that only 31 places are feasible as of 1 March 2026. A second group room still requires fire department approval, and the outdoor space is not yet ready. The inspection demonstrated that the location meets all quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff, and accommodation. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to implement the adjustment to 31 childcare places as of 1 March 2026.
