About this care
Welcome to Clara, our intimate toddler daycare located at Zandberglaan 62 in Breda. We are part of Kober childcare and provide professional care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Our location is situated next to primary school De Zandberg, offering a familiar and safe environment in a quiet residential area.
At Clara, we work with horizontal groups, organizing children by age groups. This allows us to optimally tailor our care and activities to your child's developmental stage. We have our own covered playground where children can safely play and explore.
Our toddler daycare has been officially registered since December 17, 2015 in the National Childcare Register under number 226517172. We keep parents informed daily about their child's experiences through our Parent app, with photos and news from the location.

Summary
Clara Daycare Center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Breda, part of Kober B.V., provides care for up to 16 children aged 2–4 years in one group. The unannounced annual inspection on 27 February 2025 assessed the domains of pedagogical climate, staff & groups, and parental rights. All statutory quality requirements were met. The pedagogical policy plan is current and adhered to; the four basic objectives (emotional safety, personal/social competence, values & norms) are ensured. All childcare professionals are registered in the persons register, hold valid Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG) and required diplomas; the staff-to-child ratio is in order at all times. There is one stable core group. Parents are actively informed through the website (including inspection reports, complaints procedure, disputes committee). Despite the absence of a formal parent committee (≤50 childcare places), parents are sufficiently involved in policy matters in other ways. No written complaints were submitted in 2024. The supervisory body advises the municipal executive not to take enforcement measures.
