About this care
Kindcentrum KlimOp is located at Akkerwinde 74 in Zwaag, right next to shopping centre De Korenbloem, sports hall De Opgang, football club HVS and indoor playground Ballorig. Our centre combines education and childcare under one roof, giving children aged 2-12 a seamless, safe and familiar place to grow. The after-school care (BSO) at KlimOp works closely with primary schools De Flierefluiter and De Rank; we pick up and drop off children at these schools.
Our BSO focuses on the all-round development of every child. We offer a structured programme in which fun, cooperation, taking responsibility and character building go hand in hand with relaxation and play. Our pedagogical staff create a challenging environment with clear rules and routines so that every child feels safe and valued. We spend a lot of time outdoors and make use of the nearby sports and play facilities. During holidays and study days we organise a varied range of activities from which children can choose according to their interests.
Parents can choose from different childcare contracts: care during school weeks, care during school holidays or a combination of both. Summary
Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 13 August 2026 at after-school care (BSO) KlimOp in Zwaag, part of Stichting SCIO voor Opvang. The location provides care for 33 children aged 4 to 12 years in two base groups. Initially, not all conditions were met due to a shortcoming regarding the parent committee: the combined parent committee had a parent from the after-school care (BSO) but no parent from the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). Following a recovery offer with a one-week deadline, the location submitted proof on 8 September 2026 that a daycare center parent would participate. All conditions were subsequently met. Other inspected areas such as pedagogical policy, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)/Personnel Register, safety and health policy, reporting protocol for domestic violence, and complaints handling were in order.
