GGD Hollands Noorden conducted a registration inspection on 6 August 2026 at BSO De Rank of Kinderopvang 't Herdertje in Zwaag. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 30 children aged 4 to 13 years in a group room within primary school De Rank. The GGD concludes that operations will reasonably proceed in a responsible manner and advises inclusion in the National Childcare Register. All assessed conditions regarding registration, administration, pedagogical policy, personnel, safety, accommodation and parental rights have been met. Several aspects such as pedagogical practice, group composition and staff qualifications could not yet be assessed as the location is not yet operational; these will be followed up in a subsequent inspection.
