Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kleine Veen in Eelde was inspected unannounced on 2 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe. The location, situated next to primary schools, accommodates a maximum of 55 children aged 0 to 4 years in four core groups. The annual inspection showed that the location fully meets all quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate and staff and groups. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: children feel emotionally safe, are given room for self-direction and are challenged in their development. The staff members act in a sensitive and responsive manner. All employees hold the required diplomas and Certificates of Good Conduct (Verklaringen omtrent het Gedrag/VOG), and the deployment of the pedagogical policy officer is in accordance with legal requirements. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. The licence holder recognises the findings in the report and is proud of the result. GGD Drenthe advises the municipality of Tynaarlo not to take enforcement measures.
