Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden conducted the annual unannounced inspection on 25 August 2025 at after-school care (BSO) Kindkracht 0/12, location Zonnewijzer in Roelofarendsveen. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children aged 4-12. The inspection focused on the pedagogical climate and staff/groups. The location meets all assessed quality requirements, with one exception: the pedagogical policy contained insufficient concrete agreements on cross-location care on school-free days. The inspector issued a recovery offer, which the organisation successfully implemented; the policy has been amended and the violation has been lifted. The pedagogical practice appears positive: children experience emotional safety, are given room for independence and are guided in a friendly manner. Staff matters are in order: all new staff are qualified, registered in the persons register and in possession of a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), the staff-to-child ratio is correct and every child has a fixed mentor. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
