About this care
Welcome to Kindkracht 0/12, location Poldersprong – the after-school care centre for children in years 1-8 of RKBS De Kinderbrug in Rijpwetering. We are located right next to the school at Oud Adeselaan 52, so pupils can walk straight into our safe and familiar environment as soon as the last bell rings.
Our BSO is organised into two age-based groups: the Mussen (ages 4-7) and the Grutto’s (ages 7+). Each group has its own room, a fixed team of qualified pedagogical staff and a dedicated mobile phone that parents can call or message at any time. This keeps communication short, clear and personal.
We are an active partner in the Brede School Rijpwetering partnership. Sharing spaces with the lunch-care club and the playgroup means we can also use the school playground, sports field and gym hall. In addition, we regularly join activities run by local sports club ROAC – football, handball or gymnastics – giving children plenty of opportunity to burn off energy after school.
Our in-house pedagogical coach, Tamara Rietbroek, is on site every week. She supports both staff and children whenever questions arise about behaviour or development, ensuring every child feels seen and receives extra attention when needed.

Summary
GGD Hollands Midden conducted an unannounced annual inspection on March 31, 2026, at Kindkracht 0/12, location Poldersprong in Rijpwetering. This after-school care (BSO) with 44 childcare places and two base groups is located in the same building as the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) of the same provider. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. All assessed quality requirements have been met. The pedagogical practice shows positive interaction between staff and children, with attention to autonomy, play guidance, and making behavior discussable. Staff meet all requirements regarding Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), registration in the persons register, and staff-child ratio. The safety and health policy is adequately developed and adhered to. No points for improvement or violations were identified. The provider has agreed to the content of the report. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Kaag en Braassem not to take enforcement measures.
