Kinderwoud POV Peuterpret

Kinderwoud POV Peuterpret is located in the village hall of Raerd at Buorren 30. We provide small-scale toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location has room for up to 16 toddlers and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 6 December 2016 (LRK 222205611). We focus on the broad development of your toddler. All children in the group receive pre-school education (VE), aimed at language and speech development, social skills and learning through play. Children with a VE indication receive extra support and may attend additional sessions. We work bilingually: both Dutch and Frisian are spoken daily in our group. Together with SFBO (Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang) we encourage multilingual development. For children with another home language we use ‘comfort language’ – a few words in the familiar language to reassure the child when needed. Our rooms are furnished in the Kinderwoud house style and provide a safe, familiar environment. We value outdoor play; children can run, climb and explore freely in our beautiful outdoor space. Toddler care is open Monday to Thursday from 08:15 to 12:15. Your toddler enjoys lunch with us at the centre. Our team of dedicated, qualified pedagogical staff provides individual attention and carefully guides the toddlers. Feel free to drop by and experience the atmosphere – you are most welcome!
