About this care
Welcome to KinderWORLD Almere-West, our after-school care (BSO) located at Audioweg 5 in Almere. We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (closed on national holidays). Children aged 4 to 12 are welcome to join us after school for a varied programme packed with fun and new challenges. Whether it’s cooking, reading together or even putting on a mini theatre performance, anything is possible. We provide a safe, homely environment where every child can develop freely and discover their talents. BSO KinderWORLD Almere-West was inspected unannounced on 25 August 2025. The annual inspection shows that the childcare meets requirements in all areas except parental rights: there is no parent committee, while more than 50 children are registered. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) notes that the organisation does make genuine efforts to involve parents (invitations, posters, parent council, advisory memos) and therefore advises against enforcement. Furthermore, pedagogical policy, safety and health policy, staff registration and complaints procedure are all in order. There is a relaxed and safe atmosphere; children are given space to make choices and learn to independently take small risks. No violations or immediate improvement measures required.
