Kinderplein

Kinderplein is our daycare centre located at Bellamystraat 28 in Terneuzen. We provide care for up to 50 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our site is situated next to Toonbeeld and offers a very spacious, green outdoor area filled with natural play elements. Half of the grounds are paved for bikes and ride-on toys, while the other half features grass fields, a hill, sand, a crawl tunnel and tree trunks. For the very youngest we have even created a special baby garden. Thanks to a canopy, children can still enjoy the outdoors when the weather is less favourable. Inside we work with three horizontal age groups. De Mallemolen is our baby group for children aged 0 to 3 years. Here we follow each child’s own rhythm and use a fixed daily schedule that provides calm and trust. De Tuimelaars form our toddler group for children aged 2 to 4 years. In this group we use the recognised Early Childhood Education programme Puk, through which we stimulate language development and other skills in a playful way. For children from about 3 years who need extra challenge, there is the toddler-plus group. We also use Puk here, but we can delve deeper into themes and offer more challenge. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. For a small surcharge extended opening hours are available (6:30-7:30 am and 6:00-6:30 pm). Shorter day sessions in blocks of 3 hours are also possible. During school holidays we remain open. Kinderopvang Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, of which we are part, has stood for quality and personal attention in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen for more than 40 years.
